BRENT LYNCH
Canadian (SFCA)

Creating images has always been a part of Brent Lynch’s life. As he grew his natural creativity and love of learning led him to travel around the world, where he witnessed the vitality of art in society, and as a result, his commitment to the arts grew. He attended Langara College, the Vancouver School of Art and Design (now ECIAD), and in England, the St. Martin’s School of Fine Art and the Falmouth Institute of Fine Arts, where he studied painting, printmaking, and life drawing. Lynch has produced a large body of work, from illustrated books and record covers, to artistic event posters for events such as ballet, opera, theatre, and sporting events, including the 1988 Olympic games, and the current Vancouver Canucks NHL logo.

Lynch’s twenty-five year career has been honoured with many prestigious arts awards for illustration and design, and is sought after and commissioned to create murals, illustrations, and paintings for institutions, public buildings, and private collections. His work can be found in corporate and private collection worldwide.
